Why do lights remain on for so long?
Opener lights are set to turn off at a particular time. There must be sufficient time for you to walk into the house. The lights can be adjusted to turn off sooner but it's better to give yourself enough time. Let our diligent and experienced technicians help with any concerns you have.
Do I need to replace springs along with the door?
The right garage door springs allow the good movement of the door. They open it and don't let it slide down. If they're not the right ones in terms of their power, the door won't move properly and smoothly.
Can I fix my own spring system if it breaks?
Definitely not. Your torsion or extension spring system is responsible for physically opening and closing your automated garage door and therefore carries a tremendous weight. Replacing this complex system should only be done by a trained technician as it would be extremely dangerous for an untrained person to even attempt to do it. If anything goes wrong, the entire door could come crashing down.
